FOR WHOM IT IS INTENDED:

 


The project is intended for all those who feel the need and interest to develop their potentiality in relation with themselves and their projects, in relation with others and with the events of their personal and professional life.
The mechanism of the reality in which we live, seems to give us little time, energy and competency to devote ourselves to an organic development of ourselves, as we are thrown too early in the whirlwind of life and its conditioning.
A process of experiences and knowledge that should accompany us as much as possible in this adventurous journey into the reality of life, an essential tool to give us the strength, enthusiasm, security, sense of self-confidence, and courage needed to be able to grasp the opportunities that in every circumstance, joyful or sad, life is offering us.

THE CONTENT OF THE PROCESS OF PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT



It consists of the process of experiences above all practical, but also supported by an important theoretical basis, which moves along the line of self-awareness, of human behavior and the key issues which affect its quality and effectiveness.

In particular, the areas of intervention are mostly:

  • the ability to LISTEN oneself and the other, as a basic tool of effective communication. Our need to express ourselves often makes us forget the primary need to be able to listen and observe;
  • The ability to THINK, in a more reflective and flexible way, in order to gain a more balanced behavior. Our thoughts are almost entirely engaged in dealing with the everyday reality, in an unconscious way. To go out from the  mechanism of automatic thinking is essential for expanding our own capacity of thinking;
  • the growth of our POSITIVE ENERGY, that allows a vision and a more active intervention in reality. A constant intervention on our dynamic, psychic, emotional energy enables us to face difficult situations of the reality and to increase our self-confidence;
  • the management of our EMOTIONS, which allows more constructive and less conflicting relationship with ourself and with the others. Emotions and moods, are the most conditioning and less manageable aspects of our behavior. The creation of an appropriate cognitive-emotional relation can allow us to use and not to be subjected to this unlimited source of energy.
  • the ability and interest for the KNOWLEDGE about the surrounding reality, made  of people, situations, theories and visions. Our opinions, judgments, relations with the reality, are based on a world of knowledge which is too limited, conditioned by our experience and culture and never really put in discussion.
  • the ability to maintain satisfying INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS in different types of relationships. The theater of life calls us to assume many roles. The role of the other is essential for our psycho-emotional balance, both with people who are close to us, and with those unknown or even hostile;
  • the ability to COMMUNICATE in an effective and stimulating way, creating mutual SYMPATHY AND EMPATHY. The interpersonal relationship is based on communication. Everything is communication, hence the importance of its high quality;
  • the development of our own CREATIVITY that allows us to face and resolve various problems which we encounter in many situations in life, or to break the schemas of behavior which  sometimes are too rational, and that the context in which we live seems to want to impose to us.
  • the ability to INTEGRATE, in a continuous and growing mode, all the aspects and functions of our being, in order to make an organic and conscious development in dealing with our own lives.

TYPES OF COURSES

 


   
• GROUP COURSE
   Groups of 6 to 10 people
   Frequency: two projects
   One meeting, one evening per week (20.30 to 23)

   One meeting, Saturday morning (9.30 to 12)

 

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROCESS OF WORK


Each meeting includes both theoretical and practical and experiential phase of work for each theme in the program, through exercises and simulations, and above all with  the use of theatrical principles and techniques, carried out with the participation and assistance of  the entire Educational staff.
In the case of individual course, assistants, experts in theatrical technique, also act as animators and partners in the simulations of real-life situations.
Besides that, participants are also given simple tasks to be done at home, in order to make their process more effective and continuing,  an adequate supporting documentation and reminders of the work are also provided, as well as an extensive bibliography for further reading.
