Our organization was born in 1987. Massimo Giannetti established Specchi e Memorie, a theatrical association that from the very beginning distinguished itself by a specific characteristic: the use of theatrical instrument for a profound research within the human dimension. Need and opportunity to know and understand about a Human Being and ourselves, by means of creative and expressive process, considering Theatre  the most representative dimension, and very often more real than the Reality  in which Human Being moves.



Working process has been expanded over the years, opening itself also for the activities and research not strictly theatrical, but all gathered around the theme of Human Being, his dimension, potentiality and condition, that can be summarized into three main directions of the process both creative and pedagogical, strongly integrated among  themselves.
